7 Uncommon Steps to Advancement
Are you a goal setter?
A Harvard Business Study found that the 3% of graduates from their MBA who had their goals written down, ended up earning ten times as much as the other 97% put together, just ten years after graduation.
Wow! Read that again and try to take it in.
Do you write down your goals?
Setting a goal is not just an item to check off your list. It’s an opportunity to step into the idea of who you will be when you reach that goal.
Most people think that they have to DO things in order to HAVE what they want and then they will BE happy, free, and fulfilled (you can fill in the blank after the word BE).
But the truth is that we have to BE (fill in the blank) before we can HAVE and DO what we want.
Setting goals is an exercise that allows you to step into your imagination and feel what it is like to BE the person who has reached that goal.
This is how achievements happen. You have to know in your heart that you are that person who has reached your goal and then things begin to fall into place.
I’m going to let you think about that.
I’m not going to tell you those uncommon steps in the newsletter this week. You can get them by 1) listening to the podcast or 2) signing up for the free PDF on the website. You’ll see the popup in a few seconds then fill out the form.

Her name is Latajma and she has done a fantastic job creating all these amazing promotional pieces on Canva like the ones you see above. She’s only with me for a few more weeks but you’ll see her work for a long time to come. If you are interested in mentoring a free apprentice for 90 days (they work 10 hours a week for free) go ahead and check out Acadium here for more information. (Note: This is an affiliate link.)
