Emerge Leadership Academy, LLC provides workshops to develop and deepen the communication competencies of leaders and individual contributors in your organization. These workshops are highly interactive and experiential in nature and some are now available in a virtual environment due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Crisis. Participants will learn new practices and brush up on what they already know to feel more confident and inspired to deepen their relationships and hone their communication skills with colleagues and customers. They will walk away with insights and skills they can use immediately to make an impact on their daily lives. Note: Assessments for Everything DiSC has a cost associated. Ask for details.

Know Your Value and Communicate for Results (3.5 hrs Virtual or classroom) **On Catalyst

Have you ever wondered why it seems so difficult to talk with some people and so easy to talk with others? Are you aware of how you come across at work? Can you recall an occasion where you met someone for the first time and immediately liked that person? Are you struggle more to communicate while working remotely instead of face-to-face? Do you have colleagues that push your buttons or get on your nerves?

In this workshop you’ll become familiar with the Everything DiSC framework. You’ll learn about the priorities that influence your actions, what motivates you and what stresses you out. You’ll also learn about the strengths and weaknesses of all the styles so you can bridge the gaps in your communications at work whether you are co-located or not. Participants will take a 20 minute online assessment prior to class and receive a 24 page personalized report they will use in class.

Agile EQ: Understanding Self and Others (3.5 Hrs Virtual and classroom) **On Catalyst

The more volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous or working environments become, the more critical a truly agile workforce needs to succeed. Each day we’re called to make progress faster, while pivoting on short notice. We are called to stand firm in our ideas while remaining open to new perspectives. Staying agile demands that we develop and use our emotional intelligence (EQ) with a new level of sophistication that we’ve never demanded before. Sound daunting? It doesn’t have to be.

Now we have Everything DiSC Agile EQ, a virtual classroom training and personalize learning experience that teaches managers and individual contributors alike to read the emotional and interpersonal needs of a situation and respond accordingly. By combining the insights of DiSC with active emotional intelligence development, participants discover an agile approach to workplace interactions, whether onsite or remote, and learn to navigate outside their comfort zone, empowering them to meet the demands of any situation.

This workshop is for managers, teams and/or individual contributors at all levels in the organization.

Productive Conflict: Getting Along in the Workplace (3.5 hrs Virtual)

Many people see conflict as a negative experience. In fact, conflict is a necessary part of our personal growth and development. However, conflict becomes an issue when the people involved cannot work through it. They become engaged in a battle that does not result in growth. When this type of conflict arises, negative energy can result, causing hurt feelings and damaged relationships.

This course is designed to help learners curb destructive behavior so that conflict can become more productive, ultimately improving workplace results and relationships.

This workshop is for teams and individuals at all levels in the workplace.

  • Discover your Everything DiSC style to understand your behavior in conflict situations
  • Recognize and develop a deep understanding of your destructive conflict responses
  • Choose to change your response to conflict
 

Bring Out the Best in Yourself and Your Team (3.5 hrs Virtual or classroom)

Are you frustrated with the challenges of constant turnover and having to retrain people? Are you facing increasing productivity issues with people working from home? Learn more about what makes your people tick and how to get the most out them in way that is fun and empowering. Become a trusted manager who knows your peoples’ needs before they do. It begins with knowing yourself, your management style and what motivators and stressors you have. Then you’ll be able to identify the styles of your people and delegate and develop them more effectively even if you are all working in different locations. This workshop uses the Everything DiSC framework for managers and involves taking a 20 minutes online assessment. Participants will receive a 28 page personalized report to use during class. This workshop is for managers who have people reporting to them or need to influence others to get things done. Course Objectives:
