Face What You Fear

Halloween was so much fun when I was growing up! My mom made all of our costumes for the six of us and we’d go to every house in the neighborhood (about 15). It was so amazing to come home with a dozen of those big candy bars they used to give out back in the day.

I never cared much for the Haunted Houses though. Truth is I just do not like to be scared. I know some people do, I’m not one of them! I watched a few scary movies in my teenage years (can you say “Psycho?”) before I swore off of them forever.

I will occasionally watch a zombie movie because I know how makeup works but those real life psychological thrillers? Nope. Not for me.

However, when it comes to walking through fear in my life, I would say that I’m pretty good at it. But it wasn’t always that way.

Today, I work with clients who have a LOT of anxiety. In fact, anxiety seems like the new normal. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

I discuss walking through fear and not being afraid of failure in this brief video.

Facing your fears and failures will make you a better leader.

Happy Halloween!

All my best,

Maureen
