What are your intentions?

What are your intentions?

I got us 7 new puzzles for Christmas and we received a couple more from loved ones.

Before Christmas, I borrowed 3 or 4 puzzles from a friend. Paul recently took an inventory and announced we have about 75 or more stored now, in the attic.

Working on puzzles gives me a sense of accomplishment. It’s just so satisfying when you find a piece and it slips into its’ spot and just shows a little more of the big picture. Plus it’s quality time with Paul. We spend about an hour a day on puzzling.

Puzzling is a little like life. Every day we wake up and it’s another puzzle piece in the big picture.

Sometimes it can get difficult when you are working in a dark spot. Sometimes it can get boring and feel like groundhog day. Sometimes its frustrating.

But then if you keep taking baby steps towards a goal or a dream with a bit of progress each day, suddenly, milestones are achieved. Project are completed. Goals are accomplished and celebrations are had as the whole picture is achieved.

Then we move on the the next thing. Sometimes we have great fun and time slips by quickly.

Time is funny like that. The days roll by. Projects come and go. People shift in and out of our lives. Our weight and health fluctuate. Seasons change and another year goes by before we know it.

There are times we review our lives and take an inventory of how we are doing. January is one of those times.

I normally create a vision board in January of the improvements I’d like to see in my relationships, my health, my finances, and of course my business. I call this setting my intentions. I highly recommend it.

It’s like choosing a puzzle with 365 pieces and putting one in place each day to create the vision I have for the year.

The most important thing is to enjoy the journey and celebrate the milestones along the way.

This year the word I picked for my business is FOCUS.

This means I will be choosing one aspect of my work to focus on and do it to the best of my ability instead of spreading myself thin by trying to do it all.

This year I will be focused on helping my business clients optimize their team at work using Everything DiSC so they can raise their team member’s cooperation & productivity and reduce conflict & turnover. Wouldn’t that make for a better 2023 in your workplace?

I’ll be offering a free training on Wednesday, Jan 18th at noon (ET) on Zoom called “How to Optimize Your Team with DiSC.”

Everything DiSC provides so much clarity to help you get more clear on who you are and what value you have to offer your team. And it helps everyone understand each other so much better when you see where they are coming from and how they think.

If you would like an invite to the session, please hit reply and write “yes please” in the subject line.

My intentions are further clarified in my solo podcast today along with an insight into the “Triad Tool” that I use to make sure I am successful in my life, in my intentions, in my goals, and most of all, in my ability to be happy and I want to teach you how to use it.

Want to change your model of the world to be happier in everything you do? Use the Triad Tool.

Want to change your job, or your relationship, develop a new skill, and get a handle on your health and your finances? Use the Triad Tool.

It works.

Welcome to 2023 my friends. I hope it’s an exciting year of snapping in the next puzzle piece to create an amazing picture and experience in the life and career of YOU!

Best wishes,

Maureen
