On October 2, 2019 I began the ABCs of Leadership video series because I love words! There are so many good words in leadership and life so I thought this would be an easy way for me to share leadership best practices on video.
I was not crazy about being on video but it also seemed like the best way for me to learn all about how to create and produce on YouTube so that I could better use video to grow my business.
I learned a lot!
About 1/2 way through I finally got the right lighting and a much better microphone. Then I bought a software application that helped me to edit, add a little background music and annotations. The end result is that I made a lot of mistakes but learned from them and I’m probably a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.
Alas, 28 weeks has passed and I’m posting the last video on the letter Z, which stands for Zen.
The topic of “Zen” seems like an appropriate last word in the ABCs of Leadership during this Pandemic crisis time in our world. Zen is a peaceful state of mind. When you cannot control the things outside of you or around you, go within and get centered in your breath.
When you are stable within, when you are grounded, when you are focused, you are in Zen mode.
Finally, although I learned some things with this series, I also noticed that not many of you have actually watched the videos. (Although I’m pretty sure my Mom did. LOL!)
So, I’m really curious to hear from you on what would you like next? Do you listen to podcasts? Watch videos? Read blogs? Go to classes? Looking for coaching 1-on-1 or in a group? What do you need right now? How can I help?
I would really appreciate hearing from you so I can figure out what to deliver going forward. I have so much content! I’d love some feedback! You can respond directly to this email and come to the community meeting Friday at 10:00 and check in!
I love you guys!
Maureen
